**The Position**
**St John of God Hawkesbury District Health Service **is a teaching hospital in Windsor NSW providing acute community and allied health services for the local community and surrounding districts. Our healthcare facility is operated by St John of God Health Care and provides public patient services under a public-private partnership with the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District.
- A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
- Approved Certificate in Sterilising Technology or equivalent.
- Experience in sterilisation services and instrument processing.
- Experience in the cleaning of endoscopes and willing to participate in further education for endoscopes.
- Experience with loan equipment.
- Ability to demonstrate competencies associated with work practice requirements of CSSD.
- Ability to liaise with colleagues and other health professionals effectively.
- Ability to problem solve effectively.
- Demonstrate commitment to Continuous Quality Improvement.
- Provide quality customer service to all external and internal customers.
- Ability to preceptor junior CSSD caregivers.
- A willingness to further education within the sterilising field.
