Your role
Corrective Services NSW requires an Assistant Administration Officer to join a vibrant team at the John Morony Correctional Centre.

You will be responsible for providing administrative support to a Correctional Centre, and your duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Procurement, including Purchase Order creation
  • Trust Account processing
  • End of Month processes
  • Accounts Payable
  • Customer Service
  • Visits Booking
  • Electronic filing and Archiving
  • Minute taking
  • General Administrative team tasks
  • Arrange daily courier services, mail pickup/delivery, and distribution
  • General data entry
  • Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders
  • All miscellaneous tasks as required in accordance with the capabilities of the role

As a highly motivated Assistant Administration Officer, you will always maintain confidentiality, utilise your proven experience and knowledge to meet the demands of this role effectively.

Resilience, high attention to detail and accuracy and the ability to work under pressure are the key attributes to succeed in this fast paced role.
