As a Community Liaison Coordinator, you will actively develop positive relationships with employer and stakeholders to increase opportunities for SYC’s Disability Employment Services (DES). SYC delivers employment services at over 50 locations throughout Australia, and you’ll be based at our** Glen Waverley, VIC **site, you may also be required to travel for the role.

In this role, you’ll be part of a supportive and result driven team who are dedicated to our vision of wellbeing, independence, and opportunity for everyone. Day to day activities will include:

- Actively promote and market Disability Employment Services directly to job seekers, school leavers and employers
- Positively grow Disability Employment Services caseloads through direct registrations
- Encourage market participants to potential employers that result in job placement
- Maintain knowledge of and provide expert advice on the local community and labour market

**About You**
- Excellent communication skills with well-developed verbal, and written skills, and the ability to prepare and conduct effective presentations.
- Self-motivation and initiative, with well-developed organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines and attend to multiple tasks and priorities.
- Interpersonal, conflict resolution and negotiation skills along with the ability to identify innovative and lateral solutions to problems

**For this role, you will need to**:

- Be willing to complete a Working with Children Check and National Police Check
- Be eligible to work in Australia
