**The Role**
The Marketing and Communications Officer partners with internal and external stakeholders to provide high level Marketing and Communications advice. This role specifically partners with the Education, Learning & Assessment directorate, with a particular focus on **marketing **Education changes to Fellows, trainees and other stakeholders is a key requirement of this position.
The Marketing and Communications Officer n is a member of the Marketing and Communications team, but works closely with the Executive General Manager, Education, Learning & Assessment and Education Managers to ensure all education stakeholders are aware of the Education Renewal program, and are supporters.
The role is responsible for:
- Building effective working relationships with key stakeholders within the College and externally.
- Delivering consistent strategic advice and insight to ensure marketing and communications activities are impactful.
- Work closely with the Education Directorate to plan, lead and support communication activities and projects in line with the rollout of Education Renewal.
- Provide high quality and timely Marketing and Communications advice and support as required.
- Identify and respond to other marketing or communication needs of the College if required.
- Adjust materials, content and delivery channels to meet the Education Directorates needs and best-practice.
- Provide clear briefs and work closely with external agencies and suppliers as required.
- Contribute to the smooth-running of a high functioning and successful team
**Desired Skills and Experience**:
- 5+ years of experience working within similar scope and responsibilities
- Proven experience developing and implementing marketing and change strategies, preferably in an education or healthcare context
- Strong written communication skills including the development of articles, communication collateral, marketing material, briefing notes and newsletters for diverse audience groups.
- Strong verbal communication skills including leading discussions and presentations.
- Strong research skills as required to develop marketing collateral.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines through to completion.
- Proven ability to brief and manage external design agencies and suppliers.
- Proven ability to develop effective working relationships with diverse project teams
- Proven ability to negotiate and manage competing demands and expectations of multiple stakeholders.
