**Your role**

The Operations Resource Manager for Major Program Delivery (MPD), Infrastructure and Assets (I&A) is responsible for the overall planning and delivery of resource management strategies and operations in MPD.

The role is responsible for managing capacity planning and resource allocation to maximise productivity and fulfil project needs whilst balancing competing demands for resources across the department.

**What you’ll do**

As part of the MPD within I&A, you will be responsible for implementing the technology management tools to manage and monitor staff utilisation, work commitments and coordinate with current and upcoming pipeline of programs / projects, identify resource needs and capability to best deliver the works, interface with other business areas such as WHS to ensure staff are upskilled, trained and certified, risk management and reporting on resource management and operations.

Major Program Delivery is responsible for delivering major programs and projects for I&A under the DCJ agency. Delivery Support Services underpins the operating model by providing support for MPD in the form of for example, governance, WHS, procurement and contract management. Resource Management is a new business stream created to manage MPD resources in a planned, structured manner. A great opportunity to develop this new role.
