**About the role**

Inner West Council is currently seeking a motivated, outgoing and inspiring individual with a passion and genuine interest in improving people’s lives through health and fitness. The Health and Fitness Team Leader’s primary purpose is to coordinate the day to day running of the Health and Fitness department within Councils Aquatic facility. This position will ensure that the program schedule is varied and in step with industry trends making it enjoyable and exciting for participants to use. This position is responsible for providing experience and leadership to staff to ensure the department works as a team.

**Remuneration**

$72,621.12 - $81,530.80 + 11% Superannuation

**Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications**
- Possess accredited qualification in Fitness and the provision of fitness programs or equivalent (e.g. Degree, TAFE Certificate III or IV in Fitness)
- Demonstrated experience in gym supervision, fitness testing and developing fitness programs
- Demonstrated planning and organisational skills
- High Levels of initiative and self-motivation

**Note: Shortlisted applicants will need to provide a certified copy of the following documents**:

- Proof of work rights in Australia (e.g. copy of Passport or Birth Certificate etc)
- Accredited qualification in Fitness and the provision of fitness programs or equivalent (e.g. Degree, TAFE Certificate III or IV in Fitness)
- Senior First Aid Certificate ( First Aid Level 2) Certificate
