First Nations Family Response Facilitator

**The Role**
- Our Family and Child Connect program has an opportunity for a motivated and passionate Family Response Facilitator to join the team. Located in Caboolture this role will be Fixed Term Full-time contract for 6 months with the potential of extension to a permanent role.- This position provides quality service delivery to children, young people, families and the community within the Family and Child Connect Service (FaCC). You will be required to provide services to the Moreton Bay region, the Family and Child Connect team engage with families and a wide variety of service providers to facilitate vital connections to supports for those families in our communities.- Please note, that to perform this role, it is essential that the person who holds the position be an Aboriginal person or Torres Strait Islander person and is therefore a genuine occupational requirement under section 25, 104 and 105 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld).- This position offers a competitive annual salary of $82,044 to $88,288 plus superannuation dependent on qualifications and experience. You will also have the opportunity to increase your take-home pay by salary sacrificing and other benefits (more information below).**To be eligible for this position you will require**:
- 3 or 4 year tertiary qualification in Child Protection, Human Services, Social Work, Psychology or related discipline.
- It is desirable if you have previous experience working effectively across a range of service providers, both government and non-government, to negotiate high quality service provision to families who have complex issues.
- Hold a Provisional Green (P2) or Open Driver Licence.
- A positive notice in the Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and the ability to obtain any other legislatively required personal history screening as required.
- Evidence of current vaccination against Whooping Cough or willingness to obtain prior to commencement, unless applicable exemption provided as per the relevant MC procedure.
