Work Injury Services (WIS) is a business unit of Shared Services SA. WIS manages workers compensation claims and provides return to work services for a large number of SA Government Departments and Agencies.

Dealing with workers compensation can be complex, so it is essential that everyone involved works together to achieve a safe return to work for all injured workers. The WIS ‘Injury Management Model’ has been developed in consultation with the relevant client agencies and implements best practice in injury management to reduce the human and financial costs associated with work injury by assisting injured workers to return to work.

**Role Description**:
The Claims Case Manager is accountable to the Manager, Work Injury Services and responsible for the management of a workers compensation claim portfolio for SA public sector client agencies of DTF Work Injury Services in accordance with relevant legislation, regulations, SA Public Sector Injury Management Standards and Public Sector Performance measures.

The role provides expert advisory, consultancy and training services to SA public sector client agencies, including business unit managers and supervisors, in relation to all aspects of workers compensation claims management and administration.

**Special Conditions**:

- The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a satisfactory SAPOL Clearance or General Employment Probity Check as directed by Shared Services SA.

Shared Services will initiate appropriate background screenings for successful applicants at Shared Services SA’s expense. Applicants should not initiate their own screening checks or clearances and doing so will not entitle the applicant to reimbursement from Shared Services SA of costs incurred.
- Full time fixed term contract available for up to 24 months with pathways to ongoing employment.
- Incumbents must hold current Australian work eligibility status
- Some out of hours work may be required.
- All employees can have the opportunity to participate in the Department's Performance Development processes providing coaching and personal development opportunities.

ASO5 - ($84,522 to $94,003 pa)
