The Opal Recycling business are excited to offer a newly created opportunity to join our business as the National Key Account Manager. Ideally this role will be based in Sydney, but we can also consider having someone located in Melbourne.

The division offers a range of Recycling services including collections, equipment supply & servicing, staff education and training, account management and reporting to cater for a wide range of businesses, from small to medium enterprises through to large supermarkets chains. Opal Paper and Recycling is one of Australia’s largest cardboard recycling operations.

As a National Key Account Manager you will be responsible for strategically important accounts within Opal Recycling, driving value by providing a centralised approach to account management, account optimisation and customer interactions.

The key focus of this role will be to:

- Identify, implement, and report on value adding projects using Opal tools such as QlikView and Salesforce Lightning.
- Enable existing account managers to focus on state-based growth for OCC volume and Resource Solutions as the Opal recycling business rapidly expands
- Ensure Opal is delivering best in class customer service and operations management through continual engagement with state-based customer service teams and operations managers

Specifically for this role, we expect you will have;
- Previous experience managing strategic accounts, ideally in the in the waste or recycling industry
- A bachelors degree
- A highly analytical approach and enjoy using reports to identify and communicate opportunities
- A collaborative approach
- The ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships at all levels across the business
