We have a new opportunity available to join our Opal Packaging Plus team as a National Key Account Manager based at our Pemulwuy, NSW branch.
Opal Packaging Plus is an industry-leading packaging and consumables business that has been delivering packaging solutions to Australian businesses for more than 40 years. A member of the Opal Group, an innovative, renewable packaging company with operations in Australia and New Zealand, we combine our national footprint and global connections with our expert knowledge and strategic supplier relationships to deliver affordable packaging consumable solutions to suit every customer.
In this role you will have responsibility for a major national account, primarily with a focus on building and maintaining a strategic relationship to facilitate long term growth in revenue and profitability.
This role is very much about stakeholder engagement within your key account, building strong business relationships across multiple business levels and functions with the customer.
You will contribute to the success of Opal by:
- Developing successful working relationships with our customer’s business and developing strategies for the future
- Working strategically with multiple business units to increase share of wallet and seek out ways to introduce new products or projects within the account
- Developing an understanding of the customer's market segment so that solutions that deliver value for both the customer and OPP can be proposed and executed
- Developing a strategic plan for delivering value improvement within the account across pricing, product and contract management
- Organising and leading regular key account team meetings to drive national initiatives and ensure performance is consistent across the entire business

- Experience working in a major or key account management role in a similar industry

- Well-developed strategic focus and proven track record of success managing a major national account
