Theatre Floor Manager Sydney

A fresh opportunity awaits for an enthusiastic leader to become part of the team and ensure the efficient management of the Theatre Unit at a private hospital in Sydney. This position is a permanent full-time role.
**ABOUT THE ROLE**
In this role, you will be direct support to the Nurse Unit Manager of the Theatre Unit and will assist in ensuring the efficient and effective management of all human & material resources within the department. The role encompasses planning, implementing, and evaluating all practices, processes, and clinical services of the unit.
You will also facilitate the smooth running of the department and operating sessions, coordinating the continuum of care relating directly to surgical/anaesthetic intervention to provide an optimal surgical outcome for patients in the perioperative unit.
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse;
- At least 5 years of relevant experience as an RN in the perioperative environment;
- Relevant post-graduate specialty qualifications and/or management qualifications will be highly regarded;
- Excellent people skills, the ability to manage change and the complexities of the perioperative environment;
- Clinical leadership or management experience will be highly regarded;
- Ability to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate a continuous improvement program;
- Excellent time management skills.

**REMUNERATION**
$64.56 + superannuation, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
**ABOUT THE FACILITY**
The hospital, located in Sydney's South, is a fully accredited 276-bed advanced surgical and acute medical facility, providing an outstanding working environment, modern facilities, innovative education programmes and a supportive executive team. The hospital currently consists of 16 Operating theatres, including a Hybrid theatre. It has the Da Vinci Xi Robot and New Orthopaedic MAKO Robot.
