**THE OPPORTUNITY**
Working within the Work, Health and Safety Unit, as a WHS Incident Notification Officer, you will be acting as a “first point of contact” for incident notifications and escalation for TAFE NSW. WHS Incident Notification Officers are responsible for taking and actioning telephone calls, customer queries, and providing excellent customer service to callers. This is a strong service focused role where quality of customer interaction and assisting the customer is the primary goal.

**ABOUT YOU**
To succeed in this role, you will have experience in managing workflows, processes and procedures accurately. Great attention to detail will be required to ensure data in the register is current and accurate. With the ability to manage a variable volume of workplace enquiries and incident reporting, you will perform effective information gathering and problem-solving skills in dealing with a broad range of workplace incidents.

Exceptional communication skills in both verbal and written are required to work across a variety of communication channels and ability to work in a fast-paced high volume call center would be highly regarded. You will be collaborating with various teams with the WHS unit where you will need to be able to build a strong rapport as a trusted advisor and confidence with a wide range of people.

Additional Requirements:

- Certi?cate IV in relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar administrative role.
