The Team Leader Digitisation and Mail Services leads and supports a small team providing a range of corporate services to the department and select portfolio entities. The Team Leader collaborates as part of a Records Management Leadership team that embraces a pragmatic approach, exploring and evaluating options for digital transformation and automation.

**Position Outcomes / Accountabilities**
- Develops, documents, reviews and improves processes and services to deliver efficient, effective and value adding services to stakeholders.
- Takes a continuous improvement approach to service delivery, making use of available resources, developing and leading a highly regarded team in delivering exceptional customer service.
- Builds and maintains positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, understanding the wider business context when considering options, designing and delivering services and negotiating agreements.
- Effectively supervises and manages a team of staff to deliver high level outcomes for the department, evidenced through metrics.
- Exercises sound judgement in dealing with complex, highly confidential and sensitive issues, resolving and escalating risks and issues to the appropriate levels of management in a timely and effective manner.
- Provides secure, accurate and timely distribution of digitised mail and parcels, demonstrating attention to detail and taking responsibility for high standards and accuracy with service delivery.
- Models positive behaviour, keeping calm under pressure, resolving issues as they arise and acts as a point of escalation for the team.
- Coaches and develops the team, building their capacity and optimising their effectiveness.

- Capable of guiding others in operating digital and technology tools relevant to area of work. Understands the impact of internal IT landscape to daily operations; Has broad understanding on implementation activities related to the introduction and ongoing maintenance of new digital and technology tools
- Identifies and responds to customer requirements; Use understanding of the customers’ context to tailor services and ensure outcomes are delivered; Effectively manages risks to service delivery.
- Ensures staff are productively deployed through effective workforce planning practices. Translates organisational strategy into workforce requirements (e.g. roles, team structures, capabilities). Takes actions to optimise workforce effectiveness.

**Qualifications and Experience**

**Mandatory**
- Experience with high performing, service focused, teams.

**Desirable**
- Experience in government administration and/or service delivery management
- Proficient in using/working with SharePoint.
