The EL1 Assistant Director will lead an administrative team and will be accountable for the outcomes of the teams work and the appropriate use of resources to produce and achieve outcomes. They are expected to be capable of building team capability through coaching and feedback.

The EL1 Assistant Director will be responsible for actively managing key stakeholder relationships and will be required to identify relevant stakeholders’ expectations and concerns to develop and communicate methodologies and practices to achieve outcomes. They will be accountable to contribute towards ongoing self-improvement and professional development of their work area.

**Duties**
- Managing multiple streams of work and competing priorities to tight deadlines.
- Experience in Quality Assurance standards pertaining to digitised files.
- Ability to understand end to end processing of Digitised Mail and triage.
- Reporting and statistical analysis.
- Records Management processing in a digital environment and IT delivery methods.
- Dealing with difficult staff and performance reviewing.
- Project Management and Business Analysis experience/understanding.
- A thorough understanding of the Records Management policy for IRM.
- Proven management of staff and performance management experience is required.
- Experience writing Statement of Requirements for large scale digitisation projects is required.
- Experience managing external suppliers against a contract and reporting on KPI’s and SLA’s
- Process improvement

A merit pool will be established that may be used to fill similar positions (ongoing/non-ongoing) within the next 18 months.
