This is an excellent opportunity for a new and/or experienced Team Leader to progress their own career in a fast-paced environment. Job Description Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, your main role and responsibilities will include but not limited to: Leading a team of up to 8 customer service officers, to complete daily tasks in line with key KPI metrics. Hands-On in assisting the team in answering calls, e-mails, and webchat customer enquiries. Assisting in the recruitment and training of new staff. Continual Training and development of all current team members on new systems and processes. Daily internal communications with finance, warehouse, sales, and operations team. Review and development of outdated SOPs in the customer service team. Be the main point of escalations, should there be any customer complaints or issues. Ad-hoc duties as requested by the manager and senior leadership team. The Successful Applicant We are looking for a highly motivated customer service people leader, someone who is dedicated to the development of the team and completing daily tasks to a high standard. A candidate who likes to develop and invest in people, especially employees who have previous limited customer service experience is required. You will need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment as well as prior experience in a leading/mentoring role would be highly regarded. Any experience in distribution, transport, logistics, or retail would also be considered advantageous.
