This role reports directly to the Manager Records Management and is part of the Records Management leadershipteam. The Team Leader, Digitisation Office is responsible for digitisation services including fee for service digitisation and the mailroom function at 50 Lonsdale Street. The role will require strong stakeholder engagement as it interacts with other departments in offering mail and digitisation services to both the Department of Health, and the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing as well as well as external agencies. This role will also manage courier functions, including contract management for mail and courier services from 50 Lonsdale Street working in cognition with the Team Leader, Customer Services and Operations to provide internal digitisation services and to ensure state-wide consistency.

All leadership roles provide accurate reporting, review and improve operational processes, manage projects and change management initiatives and support the Manager Records Management with strategic advice.

- A proven Leader with experience in the neurodiverse advantage?
- Able to strategically manage several stakeholders at once?
- A technical expert within the Records Digitisation Space?

**Accountabilities**:

- Lead a partially neurodiverse team in providing digitisation and mail services consistent with organisational goals and values.
- Management of all mail and digitsation services operational functions including quality assurance.
- Manage the allocation of resources within and the outputs required of the work area to achieve service delivery goals and expectations.
- Effectively supervise and provide leadership to a team of employees by:

- a) leading and supporting geographically dispersed individuals to achieve their potential and contribution to organisational goals and outcomes
- b) modelling behaviors integral to good people management and departmental values
- c) where relevant, managing and monitoring specific improvement objectives in annual improvement plans relating to the area of responsibility
- d) pro-actively building and maintaining positive relationships with peers and stakeholders across the
- organisation.
- Resolve complex operational problems and issues being experienced by team members.
- Actively identify and implement process improvement opportunities within the team and in organisational processes.
- _Manage initiatives and projects to deliver on the business units strategies._
- Provide professional operations and project reports to the Manager Records Management
- Manage the units critical operations, operational contracts, continuously review services, ensure compliance and manage initiatives that will result in cost reduction and efficiency gains.
- Keep accurate and complete records of your work activities in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's records, information security and privacy policies and requirements.
- Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and for that of others in the workplace by working in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's occupational health and safety (OHS) policies and procedures.
