**What this role will bring to City of Melbourne**

As the Prosecutions Lead for the City of Melbourne, you'll oversee the smooth operation of day-to-day team activities, ensuring tasks are allocated efficiently and providing valuable support and feedback to team members. Your role will involve preparing and reviewing court briefs and prosecuting those matters on a weekly basis at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court. You’ll also ensure the team remain up to date on relevant legislation and regularly provide coaching and guidance on complex investigative work.

As part of our team, you'll deliver top-notch, customer-focused prosecution services, ensuring compliance with legislation and internal guidelines. From collaborating with Fines Victoria to representing us in court, your work will directly serve our community.

- Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, leadership, or related field, or demonstrate significant experience in similar industry roles - _desirable_
- Previous court experience, including the successful prosecution of Contested Hearing matters (12 months minimum) - _desirable_
