To support the company’s growth this newly established stand-alone role, presents a compelling opportunity to lead the HR function, make a substantial impact and play a pivotal role in the business’s future success.

**Qualifications & experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Law, Business or tertiary qualifications in a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a comparable role or similar with a sound knowledge of labour law and regulations combined with broad knowledge and experience working in HR.
- Keen interest in front-line operational environments and a willingness to engage in a hands-on activity.
- focused and flexible with exceptional interpersonal skills who can build relationships and secure support at all levels of the business.
- Demonstrated expertise in the entire spectrum of HR, showcasing a strong blend of robust operational and technical HR proficiency.
- Proven ability to facilitate workforce planning strategies, with a specific emphasis on the development of current employees into future leaders, defining and communicating career paths, and facilitating effective succession planning activities.
- Exceptional communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills, along with a knack for building relationships and securing buy-in from all levels within the business.

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Collaborating with operations leaders to understand their objectives, challenges, and workforce requirements, whilst evaluating management strategies, policies and solutions to drive business success.
- Facilitating the delivery of initiatives and actions aligned with the people plan, to ensure the organisation's people objectives are met.
- Maintaining, interpreting, and effectively communicating HR policies to ensure compliance with relevant laws and legislations.
- Providing guidance and support to managers in addressing issues related to disputes, performance management, and recruitment through development of performance management systems to plan, appraise and improve team performance.
- Developing and sustaining a workforce plan and initiating actions related to employee development, including career paths and succession planning and management development.
- Establishing and facilitating the process and practices which enable us to measure and improve employee engagement and retention.
- Reviewing, improving and supporting the delivery of recruitment practices and processes which ensure a pipeline of the best available talent for managers to support our growth as well as keep up with our natural attrition.
- Supporting the delivery of employee training and development, ensuring that all employees are suitably trained to undertake their roles and understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining a compliant workplace.
- Overseeing and managing the performance review process to establish and reinforce an approach that identifies training needs fostering employee growth and significantly contributing to the organisation's overall success.
