**The Opportunity**:
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for partnering with the business to achieve people and business objectives. The Human Resources Manager will work with People and Culture (P&C) leadership to develop and deliver People and Culture priorities across the business and ensure initiatives such as workforce planning, capability building, talent, staff engagement and broader transformational changes are aligned and embedded.

In this role you will be a strategic advisor, influencing and coaching leaders through strategic advice, technical expertise and practical solutions. You will be a change champion, talent driver and advocate for employee engagement.

**What you will be doing**:

- Coach and provide hands on guidance to supervisors and managers regarding P&C issues, including performance management, grievances and complaints, where required participate directly in managing key P&C issues.
- Conduct investigations and make recommendation regarding workplace issues or complaints.
- Review the reasons/ root cause of issues and investigations and make recommendations for training/ education to avert issues.
- Support the P&C Team in the deployment and execution of the P&C Plan.
- Coach and provide hands on guidance to business leaders to improve and optimise change management and transformational change.
- Undertake planning for key change activities, such as acquisition and restructuring activities.
- Participate in and as required lead, due diligence activities for potential acquisitions.
- Ensure compliance to recruitment approval processes and assist with the corporate and operational recruitment process including but not limited to development of position descriptions, advertisements, shortlist and interviewing, etc.
- Assist in identifying training needs, skills gaps and skill requirements.
- Assist in determining appropriate training and development activities, in line with business requirements, individual development plans and relevant guidelines.
- Assist with performance reviews including document preparation, guidance for managers and any follow up actions.
- Developing ad-hoc reports to support the people and culture team.

**Some of the skills/experience you may bring**:

- Bachelor of Business/ Human Resource Management or related discipline or substantial relevant experience.
- Previous experience in a multi-site/branch Human Resources role
- Sound understanding of all relevant workplace relations legislation and regulations.
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Proven ability in improving processes and driving change.
- Self-motivated with a demonstrated enthusiastic approach to day-to-day business operations and positive approach to a continual changing work environment.
- Strong computer literacy, MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), HRIS systems
