We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Knox People Culture & Development (PCD) team as our People Experience Officer on a full time, permanent basis.

This is an excellent career opportunity to broaden your experience and develop your skills as a person committed to providing outstanding customer service to clients. As the People Experience Officer, you will
- Undertake all recruitment related administration
- Process documents and records for employee contracts and variations via Council’s recruitment system (Page Up experience preferred)
- Work in partnership with the People Experience (PX) Partners in the delivery of HR activities and programs and collation of HR data & reports
- Support the PX Partners in the coordination of the Performance Development Review process
- Oversee Council’s HR inbox, maintain HR records, files, databases and HR forms
- Coordinate learning and development requirements including course bookings, liaising with attendees and facilitators and managing and tracking attendance
- Assist with Council’s corporate induction program, coordinating the program for all employees, including the Leader’s induction information and eLearning module development and delivery.
- Undertake other general administration tasks (including volunteer/contract management and diversity and inclusion) as required by the PX Lead and other members of the PCD leadership team.

This opportunity is a full time Band 5 Classified role based at the Knox Civic Centre. Remuneration will be $72,922 - $84,842 p.a. (depending on experience) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee.

The key selection criteria for this role are:

- Practical understanding of key activities across the employee lifecycle.
- Strong administration and written communication skills with excellent attention to detail and passion for delivering work to a high standard.
- Strong organisational and time management sills including the ability to manage competing and/or changing priorities and deliver to deadlines.
- Proven team oriented approach to work, with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and coordinate information flows within the team and with other business areas.
- Excellent computer literacy skills with the ability to use corporate systems and people-related systems to administer HR/ and payroll requirements, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact positively with a wide variety of stakeholders with the confidentiality, professionalism and discretion required in a HR function.
- Demonstrated drive and initiative with a proactive approach to work and willingness to undertake tasks outside of core remit.
