**Your new role**

We have an exciting opportunity for an Asset System Development Officer to join our Asset Strategy Team. As our new Asset System Development Officer your key responsibilities will include providing administrative and end user support for Council’s Asset Management Information Systems, managing asset related data including GIS spatial data, condition data, asset valuations and asset renewals, reporting, and providing support for Strategic Asset Management activities including Asset Management Plans, Policies and Strategies. You will report directly to the Coordinator Asset Strategy and work collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders

This is a Band 6 classified role, remuneration will be $ 87,738 - $ 95,823 (depending on experience) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee.

**What you will need to thrive**

The key selection criteria for this role are:

- Experience administering Asset Management Systems and Geographic Information Systems including Confirm, Lifecycle, QGIS, Intramaps, SQL, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel and SMEC - Pavement Management System.
- Help desk/user support experience
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of the principles of asset management
- An understanding of Council's infrastructure assets
- Experience with asset related data including condition assessments, asset valuations and asset renewal modelling
- Desirably some experience or knowledge of project management and business analysis.
