**Why Baptist World Aid Australia?**
If you have a desire to be part of a passionate, committed, people-oriented team committed to ending poverty, then you’re in the right place
Baptist World Aid Australia is an international Christian development organisation working in 24 countries. We partner with like-minded organisations overseas to implement community development and disaster projects that empower communities to overcome poverty. Last year, our work impacted close to 900,000 people.
When you join Baptist World Aid, you’ll become part of a rich, over 60-year history including 50-years of elevating child rights through Child Sponsorship. As a valued member of our team, you’ll be integral to achieving our mission of helping Australians tackle the injustice of global poverty.
We’re looking for someone who is team orientated, skilled in project management, with experience in digital marketing and a desire to grow their career in fundraising.
**About the Role**
After 50 years of successful Regular Giving programming, we are innovating our acquisition strategies to boost ongoing growth and impact more communities across the globe. This specialist role will report to the National Engagement Manager - Fundraising to drive growth and acquisition strategy across our Regular Giving portfolio, including our industry-leading Child Sponsorship and flagship Better World Ambassador products. Thinking digital-first, you’ll be responsible for delivering strategy for year-round acquisition activities in new markets and maximising revenue opportunities within our existing donor base—which includes upwards of 6,000 Regular Givers responsible for raising approx. $5 million per year. You’ll also work alongside our Regular Giving Retention Lead and team to design and deliver cohesive acquisition and welcome journeys which minimize supporter attrition and deliver impactful onboarding experiences as part of our broader donor journey strategy. You’ll collaborate closely with our Church partnership, Supporter Engagement and Marketing teams to achieve results and help care for and communicate with our Regular Givers.
**About you**
You’re a driven individual who loves collaboration and can’t help but keep bringing new ideas to the table. In your next role, you want the chance to be creative, try new things, and demonstrate success that leads to long-term organisational impact.
You may be a career fundraiser looking for a new challenge, or coming fresh from a high-performing NGO, digital agency or product growth role. Your experience in digital marketing, analysing what makes people ‘tick’, or driving campaign performance sets you apart. You may also have experience in project management or want to gain a deeper knowledge of fundraising, lead generation, and acquisition marketing. You’re naturally excited about data driven trends and find satisfaction in inviting people into action or generosity towards achieving a mission. You enjoy the challenge of collaborating with other teams to achieve your goals and no job is too small for you. You want to use your skills and experience to pursue a career in the not-for-profit sector and contribute to a mission close to your heart.
**Why work with Baptist World Aid?**
Join an organisation that is as unique as you.
