Job Summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a skilled Electron Microscope Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing a range of Electron Microscopes, Focused Ion Beam, and Surface Analysis systems.

About the Role

As an Electron Microscope Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality customer service, cultivating positive working relationships with customers, and ensuring the successful installation and maintenance of our systems.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Install, commission, maintain, and repair Electron Microscopes, Focused Ion Beam, and Surface Analysis systems.
  2. Provide training for customers and users on system operation and maintenance.
  3. Cultivate and develop positive working relationships with customers, users, and company personnel.
  4. Act as a subject expert and resource for training.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2 or more years of professional experience in Field Service Engineering in Electron Microscopy or similar field preferred.
  • Candidates with no experience in a Field Service Engineering with exposure to Electron Microscopy are encouraged to apply.
