**The Department**

The SBS Television and Online Content Division is responsible for the development of content and programming through commissioning and acquiring of relevant content, to support the delivery of our free-to-air television channels including SBS, NITV, SBS Viceland, SBS Food and SBS World Movies alongside our BVOD platform SBS OnDemand and our online website offerings such as SBS Sport.

**The Role**

We are looking for a Planning and Communications Coordinator to work 3 days per work and support the Head of Strategic Priorities and Planning and the Strategic Communications Manager to deliver TV & Online Content Division’s goals including audience growth across Television, Streaming and Online platform and the production and acquisition of a range of distinctive Australian and overseas content.

Main tasks of the role
- Provide support with TV&OC Communications to divisional staff including:

- Updating the communications calendar with key dates and events
- Internal event support as required (e.g. screenings, lunchtime learning sessions, offsites)
- Provide support to the Strategic Communications Manager for the annual SBS Media Upfronts Event (held during Oct-Nov each year)
- Support the Head of Strategic Priorities and Planning as required
- Assist with internal and external presentations as requested (e.g. KPI update)
- Source information and updates from staff from other divisions for Executive/Board level reporting
- Strong communications skills with the ability to communicate clearly and liaise effectively with a variety of stakeholders
- Competent in using Microsoft Office, Powerpoint and other presentation software (e.g. Canva)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work to deadlines and strong attention to detail
- Ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels
