**The Role**
As a senior member of the NITV team, the Strategy and Reporting Lead is required to work with other members of the NITV leadership team and broader SBS TVOC team to support the planning and delivery of NITV’s goals including tracking audience growth across Television, Streaming and Online platforms and the production and acquisition of a range of distinctive Australian and overseas content.
- Providing support on strategic and business unit priority planning to the Director of Indigenous Content, Head of Business & Operations at NITV and senior NITV team leads
- Supporting the NITV team in the delivery of linear, digital and streaming and lead the compilation of channel strategy documents, decks and reels
- Leading the tracking and forecasting of audience performance analysis as part of the annual budget cycle, supported by the Audience Data & Insights, SBS On Demand, TVOC Strategy and NITV priorities and planning analytics teams
- Working collaboratively with the NITV and Content Leadership Team, in particular NITV Priorities and Planning Lead to support them in identifying and targeting audience opportunities, programming options, release strategies, product/marketing effectiveness, and digital transition
- Providing ad hoc analysis which will require an ability to analyse audience and financial information as well as having an ability to consider more nuanced inputs such as editorial sensibility and company charter
- Designing and advocating for the use of BI tools relevant to content teams to ensure KPIs are set and measured effectively. Growing digital analytics capabilities for the division
- Coordinating NITV’s contributions to the Annual Report, ExCom meetings, CMDF and other key internal reporting required across the network
- Providing ongoing reporting of strategic initiatives such as the division’s contributions to the RAP or steercos managed by the Head of NITV Business & Operations & Director of Indigenous Content
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of how SBS divisional strategies fit within the Australian television landscape and providing regular industry environment updates

- Excellent analytic, presentation and communication skills
- High level Microsoft, Excel, PowerPoint and media skills
- A passion for the SBS & NITV purpose and for editorial content
- Passion for the unique place NITV holds in the Australian media landscape
- Highly collaborative style and ability to connect different parts of the business
- Experience in a similar media - audience, streaming, business analytics role is preferred
