They’re now seeking a talented **Payroll Administration Assistant** to join their team based at the Pakenham office.

**Job Role and Summary**

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be involved in providing financial and administrative support to colleagues, clients and stakeholders of the business. You'll make a difference and have a direct impact on the continuing success all while working in an energetic, positive atmosphere with clever, respectful people that have been handpicked from the industry due to their depth of experience, values, and passion for the product.

**Responsibilities**

Duties include and are not limited to:

- Assisting in the preparation of budgets
- Managing records and receipts
- Reconciling daily, monthly and yearly transactions
- Preparing balance sheets
- Processing invoices
- Providing customer service to clients
- Ensure up to date records according to quality standards and contribute to ensuring safe custody and confidentiality of all records whether in hard copy or electronic format
- Developing an in-depth knowledge of organisational products and process
- Maintain current knowledge and understanding of the relevant organisational and Departmental policies, procedures and guidelines
- Handling internal and external financial queries

**Required Skills and Experience**
- Tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting or bookkeeping
- Ability to process records quickly and accurately, with an awareness of the policy and legal implications of the role
- Demonstrated experience in finance administration and a working knowledge and demonstrated experience in banking systems and reconciliations of large volumes of data
- Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
- Demonstrated experience using MS Office, especially Excel and Xero Accounting Systems
- Ability to set priorities and work within timeframes and deadlines
- Strong organisation, interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team
- Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain
- NDIS Screening Check
- National Police Check
- Right to work in Australia
