**JOB OBJECTIVE**:
- The objective of this role is to attract, nurture and assist conversion of new customers to IRT Home Care. The Customer Development Manager will deliver on this objective by initiating Local Area Marketing and Business Development activities for their allocated region and being the primary person responsible for nurturing Home Care customer leads through to conversion. The Customer Development Manager will contribute to the brand of IRT by ensuring the provision of a high standard of customer service to enable customers to achieve their optimum quality of life.**JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- 1. Proactively play the lead role in nurturing new customer leads and opportunities
2. Work closely with Home Care operations teams to ensure a high number of conversions of new customers is achieved
3. Work with the Marketing Team and the Home Care Regional Teams on the development and execution of targeted Local Area Marketing activities to improve lead generation and further develop sales opportunities
4. Assist to develop and implement cross selling strategies, within existing customer cohorts (Home Care into RV, Home Care to Aged Care Centres), and further increase brand awareness
5. Provide market insight and develop strategies for continued Home Care customer growth by utilising and measuring customer feedback, market insights and competitor activity
6. Monitor and report effectiveness of Local Area Marketing activities, and provide feedback and advice to the Head of Strategy on recommended strategies for specific regions/areas/target markets
7. Represent IRT Home Care and IRT Group at local events, conferences and open days, as agreed with Head of Strategy
8. Achieve agreed KPIs by meeting with targeted number of prospective customer groups, creating new qualified leads and managing new opportunities through to conversion stage
9. Maintain a good working knowledge of current and future IRT products, including pricing and fee structures
10. Foster and maintain collaborative and positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
11. Provide superior customer service to prospective and current IRT customers
12. Adhere to the IRT Code of Conduct and IRT policies and procedures
13. Take reasonable steps to ensure a safe working environment and procedures
14. Other duties as required by the Head of Strategy consistent with the role**WORKING RELATIONSHIPS**:

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline are preferred, or extensive experience in a similar role preferably in aged care or the health sector
**WORK EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS**:
- Demonstrated sales experience and negotiation skills, proven success in a similar role preferably in the aged care or a health sector
- Superior written and communications skills, including the ability to prepare comprehensive reports and presentations
- Presentation skills and comfortable presenting to large groups
- Demonstrated ability to resolve problems and effectively manage time
- Well-developed computer skills (including Salesforce CRM)
- Current Unrestricted Class C Drivers Licence and a fully registered, reliable motor vehicle
- Willingness to travel with occasional overnight stays
- Willingness to work weekends or public holidays where required
- Desirable experience: Aged Care or Health Industry knowledge
- Desirable experience: setting up stands, and obtaining necessary permissions for public displays
