**About the opportunity**:
A great opportunity is available for you to join the General Services team at Nepean Hospital as a Supervisor.

A supervisor in General Services is responsible for providing support, direction, coaching, mentoring, staff performance development, staff appraisals and supervision for all General Services staff, while maintaining a hygienic and safe environment for patients, staff and the public who frequent the hospital and its outlying buildings.

The position will be required to work shift work, after hours and weekends.

**Selection criteria to be addressed**:

- Previous Supervisory experience leading a Team within a Health Care environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of EEO, WH&S, infection control standards and cleaning objectives/work plans.
- Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to show initiative, use sound judgement and work collaboratively as part of a team as well as independently
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks whilst under sustained pressure, maintain accuracy and attention to detail whilst managing a high workload.
- Demonstrated basic computer knowledge e.g. Microsoft Office, excel.
- Demonstrated experience and ability to provide training and assist in manual handling objectives.
- Ability to work a 24/7 rotating roster.
