- As a member of the Community Grants team, the Grants Program Coordinator is responsible for the successful development and implementation of grant programs. The Grants Program Coordinator will support Community Grants by undertaking all other non-program grant activities as required to support the delivery of grant funding to the Tasmanian community. This work will include the completion of research tasks, reporting, analysis and administrational support.We are committed to putting the rights and wellbeing of children and young people at the centre of what we do. **Hours per fortnight**:
Up to 73.5 hours - flexible options available.

**Duties**:

- Undertake and lead the planning, co-ordination, implementation and monitoring of grant programs and deliver specific purpose funding grants as required.
- Participate in the development and ongoing administration of DPACs grants management system, supporting policies and processes.
- Prepare discussion papers, guidelines, reports and advisory documents, including Ministerial and Cabinet documentation and correspondence, as required.
- Assist with client management, research, project, policy and program management tasks as required.
- In conjunction with senior staff, liaise and consult with other agencies (State and Federal), businesses and community organisations on issues related to grant program development specific purpose funding agreements and community development issues and policies.
- The incumbent can expect to be allocated duties, not specifically mentioned in this document, that are within the capacity, qualifications and experience normally expected from persons occupying positions at this classification level.

**Desirable Requirements**:
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or research experience to similar level would be an advantage.
