  • Provide advice and direction to stakeholders to foster the implementation, adoption, and consistent utilisation of the departments Grants Management process.

Period of Appointment:


Appointment to the role is on a fixed term flexible (up to 73.5 hours per fortnight) for two (2) years.


Duties:

  • Provide consistent advice, support and skills coaching by building strong relationships and proactive engagement. Offer training and learning opportunities to support grant administrators and encourage a collaborative best practice network.
  • Manage the development and maintenance of grants templates, tools and resources utilising feedback sought and received from clients and internal users. Develop specific resources for grants or grant programs.
  • Develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships that foster the correct use of grant management systems and record management according to policies, procedures and processes.
  • Complete grant management reviews for compliance, risk and quality using report data, interviews, feedback and supporting information.
  • Undertake reviews across the endtoend process with measurement against the Treasurer's Instructions, policy, procedure, processes and quality standards.
  • Input, and ensure the input of, grant data in relevant systems for reporting, data analysis and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Support assessment processes and manage the assessor pool.
  • Assist in the review of highrisk grant funding agreements, terms and conditions and where required seek further legal or expert advice. When requested provide advice and support for grant funding agreements to ensure risks have been assessed and appropriate controls have been put in place considering grant objectives, conditions and any potential remedies to ensure conditions are viable and practical.
  • Act as a liaison point for legal advice and support, collating approved terms. Utilise past skill, knowledge and advice to support decisions and direction for grant management activities and provide efficient internal grant services.
