As a member of the Community Grants team, the Senior Grants and Systems Consultant is responsible for the successful utilisation of the Smarty Grants system required to administer Grants.

Hours per fortnight Up to 73.5 hours - flexible options available.

Duties Undertake, lead and provide high level advice on the planning, co-ordination, implementation and monitoring of grant programs, specific purpose funding agreements and other major projects.

Lead the internal development and ongoing administration of DPACs grants management system (Smarty Grants) implementing effective and efficient processes for all grant requirements, timing, and delivery needs.

Co-ordinate and lead the development of system tools, templates, and reports that are used to inform key stakeholders and provide efficiencies in the production of grants management documents.

Assist with client management, research, project, policy and program management tasks as required.

Provide point of contact and technical expertise to respond to internal and external queries relating to Smarty Grants system usage and co-ordinate training and educational workshops to ensure users are up to date and consistent with functions and knowledge.

Liaise and consult with other agencies, businesses and community organisations on issues related to grant program development specific purpose funding agreements and community development issues and policies.

Develop, lead and maintain a Grants system network across other agencies and external organisations to build cohesion, collaborative practices and harness continuous improvement through ingenious system development,
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or research experience to similar level would be an advantage.
