Key AccountabilitiesPlanning
- Contribute to the development of the overarching technology strategy and supporting roadmap.
- Stay informed on industry trends and developments and takes steps to incrementally increase maturity levels.

Policy
- Develop and maintain information management policy, standards, and guidance, ensuring they are available to all staff.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the relevant legislation, regulations/codes of practice and contemporary thinking within the discipline of information management.

Business Value
- Support the broader organisation's information management needs to ensure effective processes are in place to manage the life cycle of documents, records and other information from creation to disposal or archive.
- Establishing the technologies necessary to effectively support RSHQ's information management needs.
- Developing communication and training for end users to ensure high digital competencies in leveraging technologies to managing information.

Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with staff and senior stakeholders to be able to influence change.
- Lead and facilitate the relevant information management user groups ensuring members from across the business participate to drive the delivery of enhancements.
- Ability to escalate and rally stakeholders to resolve complex issues in a timely manner, through convincing options and recommendation briefs.
- Build strong relationship with third party vendors to enable the resolution of issues to be effectively and efficiently managed.

Information Security
- Manage and maintain relevant information management disaster recovery planning and implementation, including testing requirements and resolution of potential issues.
- Manage information security requirements including the implementation and ongoing improvement of controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information.
- Contribute to annual reviews and updates to the business continuity plans for business solutions.

Essential / desirable requirements
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications in IT, management or a business-related discipline would be highly regarded.
