The Marketing Manager - Coalition Partners, manages the marketing activity across the partnerships team and supports commercial revenue targets for the Loyalty business. You will provide input into marketing strategies and planning that supports joint marketing and partnership objectives. This role is responsible for the execution and delivery of the activity associated with marketing campaigns. Working closely with the Marketing Leadership team, the Loyalty Commercial team and our partners to optimise marketing and identify opportunities to drive growth. Further to this, you will deliver best-in-class communications across a variety of channels, including eDM, social, digital media and retargeting, ATL media and PR, and ensure all initiatives are successfully implemented on time and on budget.

You will drive campaign planning and build a detailed understanding of the Frequent Flyer member base to help develop and optimise future strategic, insight-driven marketing activity Tight campaign delivery and timely communication with all internal and external customers and stakeholders throughout the campaign development process is key. Testing creative outcomes is highly regarded and evaluating and reporting on campaign activity to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

You’ll have:

- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline.
- 5+ years’ experience demonstrated direct marketing experience in a corporate or agency, a background in partner marketing or client management would be highly advantageous
- Exceptional communication skills to build effective relationships with external partners and agencies, as well as internal stakeholders, including commercial managers, legal and data analytics
- Analytical mind set and confidence working with data analytics and reporting tools
- Excellent time and project management skills, with the ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining attention to detail
- A background in loyalty marketing would be advantageous, and experience in acquisition and retention campaigns within consumer retail will be highly regarded
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively liaise with Qantas management, and senior executive levels of external partners.
