Downer offers a range of services for the utility sector, incorporating traditional power and gas, renewable energy and technological communications services.

Our Power Systems team are seeking a Resource Coordinator to collate and analyse data to accurately forecast labour demand and supply, and training compliance, ensuring the business has the right people, with the right skills in the right place at the right time and ensuring we have sufficient capabilities for future power projects. This will require close collaboration with Operations, Precontracts, HR and Learning & Development

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
This position will report to the People and Culture Manager to assist in the co-ordination of resources on Power Systems Projects - including mobilisation, onboarding, transferring between projects. This role will access confidential documentation relating to individuals including personal information, medicals, contracts, pay rates and other sensitive documents. This will require close collaboration with Operations, HR and Learning & Development.

**KEY RESPONSBILITIES**:

- Co-ordinate activities which require onboarding and mobilising of personnel on power systems projects
- Drafting documentation for employees to facilities project appointments - such as transfer letters and project letters
- Raising system requests to facilitate these changes in the payroll system.
- Communicating with all relevant personnel on employee movements.
- Supporting the team where required
- Collaborate with HR, L&D and Zero Harm on personnel development and succession planning. Develop and foster good onsite relationships

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Previous experience in a co-ordination and administrative role in busy and/or fast paced environments
- Experience communicating with a range of different people - from blue collar employees to senior white collar management
- Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate and manage resources and processes involving high volumes, competing deadlines, with a time critical focus.
- Advanced Excel Skills essential
- Proficient use of Primavera, P6 or similar project planning software is desirable
- Sound commercial acumen to help make decisions when moving resources
