About the opportunity
Reporting to the Business Improvement Manager, the Business Improvement Specialist plays a key role in designing and delivering organisation-wide change and business improvement interventions to support and deliver RACGP’s operating plan. You will:
Use your stakeholder superpowers to engage and understand business problems and identify opportunities to implement solutions
Partner with the change team to enable and empower employees to adopt changes that add value and improve the way they work
Get under the hood, facilitating business improvement needs analyses, engaging and coaching people leaders to drive and implement successful business improvement activities.
Lead and facilitate workshops with staff and members to understand and produce end-to-end current state process and workflow maps at varying levels of detail whilst building the future state requirements
Prioritize the needs of the employee, the general practice profession and the member by putting them at the centre of the improvement

About you
As our, Business Improvement Specialist, you are motivated by designing and delivering organisation-wide change and business improvement interventions This role will contribute to the delivery of a pipeline of business improvement activities across the organisation and build organisational capability in business improvement tools, methodologies, and frameworks to improve the customer and employee experience.

You’ve done this before, with experience in working within business improvement functions that deliver change that adds value, optimising and streamlining processes and ways of working.
You’ve trained for this, with relevant business improvement certification in a methodology such as Lean/Six Sigma Trained (minimum Greenbelt) or demonstrated relevant experience
You’re a designer at heart, and can’t wait to support the organisation in building capability in design Thinking/Human Centred Design
You’re a self confessed process mapping geek You can demonstrate your ability in developing and facilitating end to end process maps, using a value stream lens to optimise and reduce duplication
You love a good problem to solve and aren’t afraid to lean in with curiosity to find the best approach
