As the Business Improvement Specialist in the Integrated Energy Team, you'll be at the forefront of this renewable energy revolution and be responsible for business improvement initiatives and projects for the renewables business. You will be expected to facilitate, guide and support the renewables business to deliver the initiatives that will uplift engineering, operational and corporate compliance requirements.

What you’ll be doing:
- Developing asset management strategies and outcomes aligned to business requirements and in accordance with ISO 55000.- Ensuring compliance with AGL Asset Management Standards, systems are proactively maintained and relevant industry standards applied for wind, solar, storage and gas turbine assets.- Supporting and leading asset related investigations including formal Root Cause Analysis investigations and acting as a point of reference and technical support for managing changes in assets.- Maintaining effective working relationships with Regulatory Agencies by responding in a timely manner to issues with the National Electricity Market (NEM).- Ensuring that all Health, Safety and Environment Systems and goals are communicated and adhered to while meeting AGL’s policies and standards for HSE management.

What you’ll bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Business Management or equivalent relating to business improvement coupled with experience in one of more of the following areas; project management, lean six sigma, asset management (ISO55001) or energy industry.- Ability to facilitate workshops and track, monitor and report effectively on outcomes.- Strong technical skills, problem-solving skills, as well as analytical skills and use of software tools to provide analysis.- Demonstrated initiative and a self-starter who is able to form close and effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.- Proven interpersonal skills with high quality written and verbal communication skills that can be used across all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
