**About University Communications and Marketing**
The University’s Communications and Marketing function provides strategic, advisory, and operational services to support the academic mission and the University strategy.

**About the Role**
As the Executive Officer, you will be responsible for providing high-level executive and secretariat support to the Chief Reputation & Engagement Officer, including executive communications, stakeholder coordination, administrative duties and portfolio support. These activities include organising and supervising all administrative duties that facilitate the running of an Executive office.

In a typical week at work, you may:

- Act as the point of contact for the Chief Reputation & Engagement Officer, handling queries, screening calls, analysing the criticality of requests, prioritising and actioning requests of a sensitive matter and taking decisive action to facilitate the optimal use of the Chief Reputation & Engagement Officer’s time
- On behalf of the Chief Reputation & Engagement Officer manage, prepare and review high-level complex communications across the broader Communications and marketing portfolio ensuring timeliness and accuracy
- Research, analyse, collate and provide operational detail to the Chief Reputation & Engagement Officer to support informed decision-making and planning
- Contribute and at times lead the setting up of meeting cadence, administrative support to key governance forums and team event coordination.

**About You**
You will have outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated capacity to prepare high-quality written materials in multiple formats. You will be able to exercise a high level of confidentiality whilst undertaking several concurrent tasks demonstrating excellent organisational, prioritisation and time management skills which are critical to this position.

Ideally, you will further have:

- A tertiary qualification with relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
- Experience working in a senior executive support and secretariat role, providing administrative support to ensure the efficient running of the day-to-day activities including diary management, handling enquiries and correspondence preparation and management
- Demonstrated analytical skills with an understanding of Executive office processes, reporting and administrative activities
- Demonstrated ability to act with a large degree of autonomy and under broad direction to undertake a range of complex tasks with mínimal direct supervision
- Experience in leading and supporting operational excellence/ continuous improvements activities
