**The role of the Inventory Store person is to maintain stock accuracy, associated tasks, quality of product and supporting the business to meet KPIs and customer requirements.**
- Full Time Position
- Afternoon Shift 12:54pm to 9pm
- $71 k Package
- Cold Storage
- Altona North location

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that KPIs and inventory targets are achieved
- Performs actions to address inventory issues (stock variances, non-conformance product, damages, negative stock, short date, out of date stock, overstock, wrong stock in location, stock not in location, LOST location, random weights, open orders, replens, etc)
- Perform stock moves
- Investigate inventory issues
- Support other departments to manage the flow of materials to ensure timely delivery of product
- Perform & reconcile cycle counts to maintain stock accuracy (physical and system alignment)
- Maintain & process daily the Non Conforming Products (NCP) drop off points
- Maintain & process daily the Returns drop off points
- Update and maintain accurate records of all items within the warehouse and WMS (adjustments, transfers, hold, etc)
- Maintain stock quality and non contamination of product
- Performs associated tasks for the returns process
- Performs weekly counts of consumables and provide this information to supervisor
- Performs tasks & data entry associated with the non-conformance register
- Participates in stock take processes
- Supports all areas of the warehouse as required
- Drive & operate scissor lift, forklift safely in accordance to Work Cover Guidelines & WH&S policy to perform tasks
- Supports a continuous improvement culture
- Ensure warehouse and surroundings are in a clean and tidy state and professionally presented at all times
- Ensures security policy and procedures are adhered in accordance with F Mayer Imports
- Support & maintain an awareness of Operational Management System (Quality, OHS and Environmental), ensuring that all departmental activities meet the requirements of legislation, authorities and guidelines supplied by F Mayer Imports
- Assist to ensure that employee Occupational Health & Safety responsibilities are met by complying with the Company OH&S policies and procedures. As well as demonstrating a level of compliance with relevant legislation
- Performs other duties as required

**Essential**:

- **Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role and operating environment**:

- **Experience minimum 2 years in warehouse environment**:

- **Experience in inventory/stock control**:

- **Experience utilising WMS (Warehouse Management System)**:

- **Current & suitable forklift licence**:

- **Experienced using MS Excel**:

- **Must have full working rights in Australia**:

- **Must be able to pass a police clearance**:

- **Must be able to pass a medical including a drug and alcohol test**

Desirable:

- Previous use of RF terminals/scanners
- Exposure to Lean Supply Chain, 5S
- Experience utilising MS Office
- Exposure to Quality Control/Assurance
- HACCP Risk Management
