**About The Role**
Due to the continued success and growth of the Milwaukee brand we have a fantastic new opportunity for an experienced Inventory Team Leader to join the team at our brand-new state of the art DC situated at Melbourne Airport, Tullamarine.
The primary focus of this role will be to lead and coach the inventory team ensuring safe, accurate and efficient picking and processing of orders within agreed timelines and in line with company procedures and values.
**Reporting directly to the DC Inventory Manager your day to day will include**:
- Lead the Inventory team to ensure all product master data is accurate and up to date in the WMS
- Ensure products are slotted to maintain pick accuracy to minimise inventory loss, and achieve high customer satisfaction
- Work with the Inventory Manager to ensure that system and physical inventory differences and issues are resolved promptly to minimise delays in picking.
- Provide training and support in use of the SAP-EWM WMS and their associated procedures to the inbound, picking, packing and replenishment teams.
- Prepare and report daily/weekly/monthly as appropriate on agreed KPI measures and analysis to ensure all targets are exceeded
- Ensure compliance with all appropriate and applicable WHS policies and regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Multi skill your team across various warehouse tasks through effective use of SAP-EWM WMS
- Report on a regular basis on daily, weekly and monthly picking and agreed labour hours
- Participate in HSW project groups and committees as required
**About YOU**
**Ideally you will have a proven background in a similar Inventory Team Leader role within a fast paced, DC environment and have a passion for leading, motivating and training teams to achieve operational excellence in inventory management.**
**In addition, you will have the following skills/attributes**:
- Experience in managing picking and replenishment teams within a FMCG warehouse environment
- Experienced in picking/replenishment within a large (30,000 plus pallet) warehouse, leading a team of 10+
- Minimum 3 years’ experience using complex WMS for Inventory management of at least 3000 SKUs
- Thorough knowledge of all aspects of picking, replenishment, cycle counting & training staff on the use of the relevant warehouse management system -WMS; SAP-EWM
- Ability to use Microsoft Office programs; Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams to enhance your continuous improvement in role and support of team
- Strong organisational skills - ability to multitask and prioritise workloads
- Strong team management skills with ability to coach and motivate a team
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills to all levels
