**Job Description**:
Toll Group are searching for a driven Inventory Controller to ensure stock integrity across all of our product lines for our customers. Based on our Laverton North Major Hazard Facility, this role will report to the Warehouse Operations Supervisor, and have the advantage of learning from the current incumbent before their retirement.
If you're looking to get your start in warehousing, or inventory control, this is the role for you. Graduates and those with some exposure, but not a lot of direct experience are encouraged to apply, and gain world class training and development to grow your career.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing, developing, and implementing quality control techniques and procedures to ensure inventory accuracy and inventory management.- Ensuring and maintaining a high standard of accuracy when completing annual stocktakes and cycle counts.- Regularly check and update inventory records in the SAP system, ensuring all transactions are accurately captured.- Conduct spot checks in various warehouse locations to ensure physical stock matches system records.- Address any stock discrepancies immediately, investigating causes and implementing corrective measures.
About you:
- 1 + year experience in inventory or warehousing/logistics.- Keen attention to detail and strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.- Initiative-taking and results-driven mindset, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.- Experience using MS Office and previous use of RF terminals/scanners highly regarded.
