Our department is rapidly expanding, and we are searching for proactive and motivated team members to join our project teams within Service NSW.?

**The position is for the employment of an Aboriginal person in line with the Department’s **Aboriginal Employment Strategy**.**

As an Assistant Project Officer, you can expect to work as a team and undertake a range of culturally informed project research, analysis, reporting, stakeholder engagement, implementation and administrative activities to support the development and delivery of projects.

**A typical day of work for you might include**:

- Provide project and operational support, including monitoring and reporting on project plans, milestones and deliverables.
- Working on documentation and records regarding relevant issues, policies and practices to ensure the delivery of projects.
- Basic research and analysis in project areas and contribute to the preparation of project briefs to support informed decision making and planning
- Communicate with relevant stakeholders to provide updates regarding project status and implementation issues
- Provide a range of secretariat and administrative services, these may include coordinating committee meetings, preparing papers and to support project management delivery.
