Reporting to the Manager Communications and Engagement, the Engagement Coordinator engages directly with labour hire providers, hosts, workers, and other stakeholders via presentations, meetings, and other forums and channels, in support of the LHA Stakeholder Engagement Strategy.

The Victorian Government established the Labour Hire Licensing Authority (LHA) to introduce a licensing system to regulate the provision of labour hire services across Victoria. The LHA undertakes a range of licensing, compliance and enforcement activities, maintains public registers and conducts research and education in accordance with the _Labour Hire Licensing Act 2018 _(Vic) (Act).

**About the role**

The Communications and Engagement Branch supports the LHA mission by planning, developing, and delivering a range of communications and engagement activities to LHA stakeholders. The team works closely with senior LHA staff and a range of stakeholder-facing teams to provide an integrated, organisation-wide communications and engagement service.

Reporting to the Manager Communications and Engagement, the Engagement Coordinator engages directly with labour hire providers, hosts, workers, and other stakeholders via presentations, meetings, and other forums and channels, in support of the LHA Stakeholder Engagement Strategy.

The role promotes compliance with the _Labour Hire Licensing Act 2018_ (Vic), raises awareness of broad and industry
- or region-specific issues, and responds to stakeholder queries and concerns. The role also documents and reports on engagement outcomes to a range of internal stakeholders, to ensure relevant, effective information is provided through LHA staff and communication channels.

This role has a flexible work location with an option of Melbourne CBD or Bendigo.

**About you**
- A confident public speaker who can deliver engaging presentations in person or online, manage questions and feedback, and build relationships with businesses and other stakeholders
- Demonstrated working knowledge of awards, registered agreements, and workplace legislation to progress the LHA mission of protecting labour hire workers
- Strong written and verbal skills, to develop and deliver compelling and relevant content
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and passionate about delivering best-practice engagement
- Capable at reporting on engagement outcomes to capture stakeholder feedback and issues
