ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We're looking for a Production Support and Engagement Coordinator to join us for the ride in this fulltime ongoing role.
The Production Support & Engagement Coordinator is the backbone of VicScreen's location and production services. Liaising with stakeholders to assist with location-related production support, improving the experience for productions shooting in the State and contributing to screen industry policy and advocacy.
Reporting to the Senior Manager Strategy, Locations and Industry Development, the Production Support and Engagement Coordinator thinks critically to help drive VicScreen's screen industry development agenda. They draw on their technical nous to build portfolios via a customised CMS and flex their communication and collaboration skills to support their team in delivering services to standard and on schedule. No stranger to negotiation, they work with councils, government agencies and landowners to find solutions that ensure maximum production efficiency - cementing Victoria's status as a leading and film-friendly screen destination.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Negotiation and Stakeholder Management: Proven negotiation and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Policy Experience: Demonstrated experience working on policy writing and strategy. Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to synthesize information and develop evidence-based policy positions.
- Experience: Knowledge of the Australian screen industry and/or Victorian locations a plus.
- Leadership Experience: Demonstrated ability to lead a team.
- Tech know-how: Understanding of CMS (e.g., Expression Engine or other), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook), databases (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics), Content Manager (or other records management systems), survey and/or form building software (e.g., Smarty Grants.
