Kmart is seeking an enthusiastic Office Experience Manager to join our Property team. In this pivotal role, you’ll ensure our office environment is maintained to the highest standard, supporting a culture of excellent communication, high customer service, and seamless teamwork. This role is based in Kmart’s National Office in Mulgrave and will report to the Head of Facilities.
**What you’ll be doing**:
As an Office Experience Manager working at Kmart group, you will:
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal team members to enhance their workplace experience.
- Lead a small team supporting the needs of the office.
- Be a key stakeholder in the relocation of the Kmart office, supporting the business to establish new office standards.
- Support our merchandising teams with the movement, storage & management of product samples
- Work with the National Office Safety Committee to provide a safe work environment for all team members and drive continuous improvement across the office environment.
- Maintain the highest safety and security standards across the building by conducting daily checks and addressing risks.
- Ensure all office spaces, including meeting rooms, utility rooms, breakout rooms, conference areas, and car parks, are always operational.
- Oversee general building maintenance, ensuring cleaning services and repairs are actioned promptly and in line with compliance requirements.
- Engage key stakeholders through monthly operations meetings with representatives from Corporate Affairs, P&C, IT, EAs, and more.
- Lead by example with a hands-on approach, maintaining up-to-date first aid and warden training, conducting regular meetings, and organizing trial evacuations.
**To be successful in this role you will have**:
- 3-5 years of experience managing corporate office environments with a focus on facilities management and technical knowledge.
- Proven ability to manage safe work environments and ensure compliance with OH&S and legislative requirements.
- Strong communication and engagement skills to work effectively with stakeholders and team members.
- A proactive approach to maintaining high standards of safety, security, and operational efficiency.
- Experience in budget management and a commitment to minimizing expenditure while maintaining quality.
- A collaborative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to manage contractor relationships, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
