HR Consultant, Payroll

**The Role**:
Seeking a passionate human resources with experience in payroll, to provide high quality operational HR advice and services to a designated client group in a busy deadline driven environment.
You will be experienced in undertaking HR generalist activities and pride yourself on achieving excellent client feedback and maintaining consistently high rates of client satisfaction. Your ability to build and maintain good working relationships with your colleagues and clients as well as work collaboratively within your team and across the organisation will be highly valued, and enable you to achieve high quality HR solutions with outstanding customer service.
**VPS3 Equivalent | **Contract to December 30**| Immediate start**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide advice on the appropriate interpretation of department HR policy
- Advise and communicate on HR best practices to support development of a high quality performance and development culture
- Prepare reports, and correspondence relating to HR issues as required
- Undertake research / investigation to respond to HR related enquiries
- Provide consultancy advice to senior management on complex HR issues to enable informed decisions to be made
- Maintain employee payroll records
- Process payments, allowances and deductions including superannuation; make payments of compulsory employer contributions
- Manage recruitment documentation including contracts and letters of offer
- Provide managers with applicant lists for short-listing

- Experience operating in a shared services environment
- Experience in relationship building and client management
- Knowledge of contemporary HR theory and practice

**Qualificaton & Experience**:
