**About Us**
We exist for better days inspired by iconic flavour. It’s been three decades since Allpress set up their first independent coffee cart, buying a second-hand roaster and embarking on a bold entrepreneurial journey fueled by passion and the search for great flavour. Our little coffee cart helped introduce specialty coffee to New Zealand and changed the drinking habits of a nation. Today, we roast coffee for the best independent cafés in the world.
**About the role**
As one third of our small but mighty Customer Service team you will be the first point of contact for our Allpress community. Working from our Roastery café, Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm, you will work alongside our Roastery, Tech, Sales, Training and Finance teams to deliver great service to our customers, you will:
- Take customer coffee orders on the daily
- Assist in the administration of web orders and work with the Roastery to ensure customer fulfillment including managing and tracking customer deliveries
- Maintain our customer database and nurture & build upon our customer relationships, both current and new.
- Support the onboarding of customers and administrative tasks to help customer facing teams
**This is a 12-month contract role with strong potential for a permanent position at the end of the contract period.**
**About You**
To nail this role you’ll need to:
- Be a confident team player with a positive and flexible approach
- Hold strong verbal and written communication skills with a great phone manner
- Hold the ability to think quickly on your feet and be an eager problem solver
- Be tech-savvy - previous experience in admin or Customer service would be ideal
- Have an affinity for building and maintaining great relationships
- Have a passion for coffee and the hospitality industry
