**Term Full-time vacancy up to two years**

The Portfolio Management Office (PMO) within IS&T supports the Head of Program Delivery for the establishment and maintenance of a disciplined governance and reporting framework to ensure all active IT projects and programs are achieving IS&T business objectives which are aligned to the organisation’s strategy. The PMO works in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to provide a centralised view of all IS&T projects and programs across the Service including progress to milestones and completion, quality, budget, resource allocation and management of risk and issues.

PMO Project Officer is responsible to the PMO Manager and stakeholders for the development and administration of PMO and portfolio, program and project management tools, artefacts and meetings/events. This includes working collaboratively with IS&T staff to embed and administer standard methodologies and approaches that will support the successful delivery of projects in the IS&T portfolio and achieve SAPOL strategic objectives. The role coordinates and undertakes a range of facilitation and administration processes for governance, reporting, assurance, financial management, resource management and internal PMO procurement and recruitment. The incumbent works collaboratively with Branch Managers, portfolio/program/project managers as a member of the PMO team to facilitate monitor and provide advice to the uplift and embedment of project management capability across IS&T

**Special Conditions**
- The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.
- The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL’s iEngage program.

**Salary**
ASO5 - 84,522 - $94,003 per annum.
