New Business Manager

To manage, lead and develop the New Business team to enable them to provide a professional, personal and empathetic service to all ClearView customers internally and externally. Responsible for the proficient workflow management and achievement of the teams service standards.
**Primary (Key) Responsibilities**
- Lead, motivate and develop the New Business team
- Manage, monitor and control workflow and escalations
- Monitor quality
- Identify process improvements
- Work as part of cross-business project teams implementing new systems/procedures
- Act as point of expertise for team members and other business units
**Secondary Responsibilities**
- Support Manager, Life Operations in delivering an effective service to all customers internally and externally.
- Implement processes and procedures within the Team focused on delivering high levels of service
- Ensure team delivers and/or exceeds against published service standards for both productivity and quality
- Day to day management of the team including leave, rosters and performance
- Monitor and analyse statistics and outputs
- Provide management with performance reports for team.

**Qualifications Required**
- Certificate in Team Leading
- Certificate in First Line Management
**Attributes or Skills Required**
- Strong analysis and problem solving skills
- Develop and lead a strong team of people focused on day to day management of the team
- 2 years Life Insurance Experience in New Business Administration
- The ability to motivate people
- Good spoken and written communication
- A responsible attitude
- Good people skills for building relationships with colleagues on all levels
- The ability to plan and prioritise
- Calmness under pressure
- Decision-making ability
- Previous leadership experience
