Corporate Services Function have an exciting new role and are seeking a smart and energised Facility Operations Coordinator to join their talented Facilities team.
The Facility Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day management of company operated facilities. This includes the coordination of national facility operational requirements that contribute to maintaining efficient operations of the facilities to meet the needs of the customer and deliver a high-quality work environment.
Reporting to the Facility Operations Manager, this role will support the daily operations management through the coordination of site support personnel and contractor support, ensuring compliance with EHS&W and security requirements. The role requires a technically competent FM professional who will have the ability to support facility operational requirements development, execution and at times lead minor projects simultaneously across multiple sites nationally.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist and support the management of day-to-day operations of the facility portfolio including acting as central point of contact when required.
- Administer and maintain the asset and maintenance schedule, undertake document control to meet audit requirements.
- Provide input and assistance with policies, procedures, and/or manuals, ensuring they are optimised and stay relevant.
- Maintain and coordinate facility taskings within collaboration platforms to ensure tasks are prioritised according to business needs and are actioned within specified timeframes.
- Coordinate and maintain facility registers, facility information pages, property report updates, facility’s team competency assessments, and assist with relevant training programs.
- Assist with the coordination of small projects including administrative support and oversight as required.
- Ensure facility suppliers and contractors are performing set duties and provide the required service for facilities, this includes monitoring the quality of product and service as well as working with the Contracts team to manage performance.
- Coordinate dashboards and contribute to the infrastructure performance, tracking deadlines and coordinating action items.
- Support individual facilities during periods of leave and absence, this may include remote support and in-person support as required to suit business requirements.
**Skills, Experience and Qualifications**
- Requires a university degree in Facilities Management, Project Management or Business or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience (when university degree not held)
- Requires theoretical to advanced knowledge of leading and managing the execution of processes and projects.
- Requires practical knowledge of projects, programs, or systems relevant to the business with the ability to make enhancements and leverage knowledge in daily work.
- Demonstrates a focus on delivering the best possible outcome and attends to all details required to deliver the right solutions at the right time and ensure commitments are met on schedule.
- Experience acting as an assistant to the manager / 2IC.
