**The role**

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to develop, implement, manage, and evaluate communications projects to deliver a coordinated approach across a range of media channels for the Education Standards Board (ESB).

You will work closely with the Chief Executive, Senior Managers and their teams to coordinate and develop a range of communications outputs to provide timely, relevant, accurate and clear information to stakeholders.

Other key responsibilities of your role will include:

- Maintaining the ESB website to ensure content is current
- Drafting and editing relevant, accurate and clear written communications suitable for a variety of audiences and for multiple mediums
- Coordinating responses to complaints and enquiries
- Coordinating and supporting delivery of the ESB’s Annual Report.

**About you**

With an appropriate degree or tertiary qualification in journalism, communications or a related field, your expertise and experience will enable you to write clear, concise and interesting communication materials that are targeted and accessible to different audiences.

You will be confident working in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities and promote continuous improvement.

**Special conditions**
- Full time term vacancy, offered on a 24-month contract.
- The successful applicant will be required to satisfactorily complete a Working with Children Check prior to being employed and regularly as required.
